Events feature is a tool designed to boost engagement by making it easy to create, manage, and participate in gatherings within your groups.

For Admins & Owners:

  • Create & Manage Events: Group admins and owners can organize events with ease.
  • Free or Paid Access: Choose whether your event is free or requires a fee, and decide who can view it—whether it’s open to a course audience, a private channel, or specific membership levels.
  • Comprehensive Event Details: Provide essential information, including the date, time, location, and descriptions. You can also add links for virtual meetings (Zoom or Google Meet) or specify a physical address.

For Members:

  • Discover Events: Easily explore new events within your community.
  • Quick Registration: Sign up for events that interest you with a single click.
  • Stay Organized: Add events directly to your Google or iCal calendars for convenient reminders.
  • Timely Notifications: Receive in-app notifications and email reminders for upcoming events, so you never miss out.
  • Easy Access to Events on Mobile: The Events and Profile sections are under the MORE menu on mobile, with notifications and chat icons at the top.

Accessing Groups:

  • Click on Memberships on the left sidebar.
  • Go to Communities, then select Groups at the top to see your groups.

Accessing Events:

  • Inside the group, find the Events tab at the top.
  • This opens the event calendar, where you can switch between week and month views.

Creating a New Event:

  • Click on the Events tab and select Create New Event.
  • Fill in details like the event name, date, time, location, and other settings.
